Welcome to St Teresa's Catholic Primary School and Nursery

Located in the heart of Hartlepool, St. Teresa’s offers a warm and welcoming environment where children can flourish—from the moment they join our Nursery at age 3 through to their final year with us. Our spacious grounds inspire outdoor learning, giving pupils opportunities to explore, discover, and grow in confidence every day. Guided by our mission, “Do the little things well,” we celebrate every act of kindness, every success, and every step forward. At St. Teresa’s, every child is valued, supported, and encouraged to dream big as they reach their full potential.

Year 4 to 6 Pupils Take Part in Exciting LEGO Robotics STEM Workshop in Darlington

Pupils from Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 at St Teresa’s Catholic Primary School in Hartlepool enjoyed an inspiring and hands‑on STEM experience during a LEGO Robotics workshop in Darlington. The visit offered a valuable opportunity for children to explore engineering, coding and problem solving in a creative and engaging way. Throughout the day, pupils worked in teams to design and build their own robots using LEGO engineering kits. Once their models were complete, the children programmed their robots to follow a set path, testing and refining their designs as they went. This practical challenge encouraged pupils to think logically, experiment with ideas, and collaborate effectively to achieve a shared goal.
