Events at St Teresa's Catholic Primary School
Spooky Day
On the 31st October we held a sponsored spooky day in school. Please look on your child's class pages for some photographs of the event. Thank you so much for the generous amounts of sponsor money that have been sent into school, we had a great time in school and the costumes were fabulous.
Reception 2024
There is still time to apply for a place in our Reception class for September 2024.
PD Days
School will be closed for a PD day on Monday 4th September, Friday 20th October and Friday 22nd December.
Rocksteady
On Rockstar day we had a performance in school from Rocksteady. They also offer music lessons where the children get to learn how to play an instrument and get to play in a band together. There are still places available if your child would like to join. If your child would like to do a taster session then please let us know at the office and we can sort that for you, there are limited spaces for this.
Staffing Update
Mrs Hughes has started at University studying Occupational Therapy; Mrs Cussons has taken retirement and Miss Russell has moved to a new school closer to home. We wish them all well.
Miss Lythe has started as our admin assistant and Mr Hillan as our Deputy Head Teacher.
Ofsted
Our school was inspected by Ofsted in September and I am delighted to say that we continue to be a 'Good' school. Please find our report attached. We were delighted with the findings and we are already working on the areas to improve upon.
My two favourite phrases from the report were:-
- Do the little things well is more than just a motto. It is the thread that runs through the work of this school.
- Pupils benefit greatly from attending this school
Thank you to the staff for their hard work to ensure we retain our good grading.
Calendar Dates
Please find a copy of the monthly calendar of events. Please check your emails for the weekly email from the Headteacher with lots of information on each week.
