Head Teacher’s Message

I am very proud as the Head Teacher of St Teresa’s Catholic Primary to introduce you to our wonderful school.

Our school mission statement is at the heart of our philosophy.

‘Do the little things well’

St Teresa of Lisieux

Myself, staff, governors, children and parents will work together to do all things well; to the very best of our ability to support, nurture, educate and care for our children so that they can become the best they can possibly be.

Our work is rooted in the Gospel values of love, respect, trust and forgiveness.

As Headteacher I work with the staff to ensure that we provide the children in our care with the best possible academic education. We work equally hard to bring out all those hidden God-given gifts and talents in each and every child, to teach them good values by which to live by, to prepare them for the fast changing world in which they live. We consider our children as individuals. who are facing future challenges and ultimately leave us secondary school ready having enjoyed and embraced their learning experiences along the way.

Our school was praised in our Ofsted inspection identifying that

'Pupils benefit greatly from attending this school.
Do the little things well is more than just a motto. It is the thread that runs through the work of this school.

Trust leaders, school leaders and other staff are united in their determination to ensure that pupils thrive. They have created a very positive learning environment.'

If you are looking for a school for your child and are considering St Teresa’s School please give us a call and we can organise a visit to our lovely school.
