At St. Teresa’s Catholic Primary School, we were delighted to welcome CAFOD into school for a special Jubilee Assembly, giving pupils the chance to reflect on justice, hope, and our responsibility to care for others around the world.
Children learned how CAFOD supports communities through clean water projects, education, health care, and emergency aid, and explored how small acts – such as donations, prayer, and kindness – can lead to powerful change.
The message was simple but lasting: we are called to look outward, think of others, and use what we have to make the world fairer. Pupils left feeling reflective and motivated, with exciting ideas already forming for fundraising and charity action this year.
At St. Teresa’s, we are proud to nurture a sense of global responsibility, encouraging our children to live out their faith through action and compassion.
