Last week, our Reception children were fully immersed in the magic of storytelling — something we cherish and celebrate every single week at St. Teresa’s.
Throughout the week, the children explored stories in exciting and meaningful ways. They sequenced pictures, retold familiar tales using rich story language, and brought their narratives to life with wonderful confidence and imagination.
We even took our storytelling outdoors, where the children enjoyed story journeys using props, instruments, and natural spaces to create engaging sound effects and atmosphere.
Their creativity shone through as they experimented with characters, settings, and ideas, becoming real budding storytellers.
It was a fantastic week filled with joy, imagination, and a true love of stories.
