A huge well done to our wonderful Year 6 children! We are all incredibly proud of everything you have achieved during your time at St Teresa’s, and especially the hard work, resilience and determination you have shown throughout SATs week. You have truly demonstrated what it means to do the little things well — from your dedication in lessons and revision sessions to the way you supported and encouraged one another every step of the way. Your positive attitudes have been fantastic to see.
Mini Vinnies Support the Good Shepherd Appeal
Our Year 3 and Year 4 Mini Vinnies proudly represented St Teresa’s at a special Mass held at St Joseph’s Church yesterday, marking the 80th anniversary of St Cuthbert’s Care. This meaningful celebration provided a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to come together in prayer and reflection, recognising the incredible work carried out by St Cuthbert’s Care in supporting those in need.
Doing the Little Things (Very) Well This Lent
During the holy season of Lent, our school community embraced the spirit of giving by focusing on “doing the little things (very) well.” We are incredibly proud to share that together, we raised an amazing £607 for CAFOD. This wonderful achievement reflects the kindness, generosity and dedication shown by our pupils, families and staff throughout Lent.
Year 5 Shine at UV Cricket!
Eight of our Year 5 children had a fantastic time this week taking part in an exciting UV Cricket event. From start to finish, they represented St Teresa’s beautifully—showing brilliant teamwork, enthusiasm and outstanding sportsmanship. This vibrant, fast-paced activity was not only great fun but also a wonderful chance for our pupils to try something new. Their positive attitude and encouragement of one another made us incredibly proud.

An Inspiring Visit to South Community Hub Hartlepool!
We were thrilled to visit the fantastic team at South Community Hub Hartlepool, where our pupils had the wonderful opportunity to meet author Lisette Auton. The children listened to her inspiring story, asked thoughtful questions, and enjoyed hearing about what motivates her as a writer.
