To celebrate Black History Month, the children took part in a fantastic African drumming session filled with music, movement and fun.
Throughout the workshop, pupils enjoyed singing, dancing and learning to play a variety of rhythms on the drums. The lively session provided an exciting opportunity to explore African culture through music while developing confidence, teamwork and creativity.
It was particularly heartwarming to see our older children supporting the younger pupils throughout the experience. They encouraged one another, shared their enthusiasm and helped everyone to participate fully, creating a wonderful sense of community and togetherness.
The session was a joyful celebration of culture, learning and friendship, and a fantastic way to mark Black History Month in our school.
Well done to all the children for embracing the experience with such energy and enthusiasm!
