Children in Reception at St Teresa's Catholic Primary School, Darlington, enjoyed a fantastic PE session this week as part of the Move & Imagine: EYFS Story-Led Creative Learning programme.
The session was led by a visitor from Karen Liddle Dance School, who encouraged pupils to use storytelling, movement and imagination to bring ideas to life through dance and creative activity.
Throughout the session, the children enthusiastically explored different stories and themes, developing their confidence, creativity and physical skills in a fun and engaging way. By combining movement with imaginative learning, pupils were able to express themselves, work collaboratively and build important early development skills.
The programme provides a wonderful opportunity for children to learn through play and creativity, helping them to grow in confidence while staying active and engaged.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience for all involved, and the Reception children embraced every activity with enthusiasm, energy and plenty of smiles.
