St Teresa’s school is proud to be an Eco-school.
We have the Eco-school Silver Award.
Two children from every junior class have joined together to form an eco-club.
As a school we are following the Eco-code:
- Walk to school
- Only use what you need
- Recycle and Re-use as much as you can
- Lights, taps and projectors turned off when not in use
- Don’t drop litter – keep our school clean and tidy
Every classroom from nursery to year 6 have 2 recycle bins: one for paper and one for plastic. The children in the Eco team have the responsibility of monitoring and collecting the recycling.
They also take responsibility for switching off the lights and projectors around the school to ensure energy is saved.
