Every Child has a voice!

Our school council is a group of children from Year 2  to Year 6, we meet regularly to discuss issues and concerns about our school.

They pass on thoughts and feelings from their peers about how our school can be improved. They also feedback information in class and assemblies.

What are the aims of the school council?

  • To make sure that our school is a safe and happy place for children.
  • To make sure that children have a place to voice their concerns.
  • To encourage all children in the school to suggest improvements.
  • To make sure any suggestions or concerns are listened to and acted upon.

Children were responsible for developing our school playground, they were involved with choosing the equipment and decided on the trim trail. All classes enjoy accessing this.

Members of the school council have taken the responsibility to sell poppies for Remembrance day.
